Our mission is to inspire women to find the courage to move out of crisis, adversity and transition, in all stages of life, by offering information about current issues, connection with other women facing similar issues, and to offer exceptional resources directed at recovery, new direction and empowerment. Our focus is sharing information and resources on legal issues, healthcare, domestic abuse, career, education, financial resources and planning, parenting, ageing, elderly, and much more.     115 On January 27, 2010, the University of Washington Department of Communications held a panel discussion with journalism entrepreneurs. WWISH president, Laura Pavlou, was a panelist. Also in attendance: Fitz Cahall (The Dirtgbag Diaries), Lucas Mack (4th Avenue Media) and Sarah Stuteville (Common Language Project). The panel was moderated by Kristina Hudson (enterpriseSeattle).

    100 This past September, I was asked to facilitate a workshop at a women's prison. Rowlanda Cawthorn, of the Communications Department at the Mission Creek Correction Center for Women, contacted me about a conference they were putting on, “Rejuvenate Your Mind, Body and Soul." It would be held on November 7th. She said she thought WWISH’s mission aligned with that of the the prison.
